Boon Edam Tournex Bottom Bearing (Timken 13889)

Timken 13889 tapered roller bearing cone, standard tolerance, straight bore. Used as the bottom shaft bearing on Boon Edam Tournex revolving door installations in our NYC-metro service work.

Application

• Bottom shaft bearing on the Boon-O-Matic drive assembly
• Replacement during scheduled service or when bearing noise / vibration develops
• Compatible with the bearing pocket dimensions of standard Tournex installations

Service life and replacement timing

Per our field experience, Boon-O-Matic bearings typically last 5-10 years in normal commercial duty. Higher-traffic installations (busy office lobbies, hotels, retail flagships) tend toward the lower end of that range. Plan for inspection at the 5-year mark and replacement around year 7-8 on high-use doors.
